Starting to Hate the Industry.

The approach of rushing things out at the last minute is an enemy to creativity, because to deliver in time all you can do is to reuse existing blocks instead of brainstorming something new. It’s both a result of poor planning and disregard for originality, yet people (at work) are almost always happier to see a boring product done swiftly (and therefore cheaply).

Brainstorming sessions?! Why the hell do we need that for, we have Google! Proper planning? Why would we need that, we have super engineers! Original features for the client? What the hell for, we have infinitely reusable templates! What, we absolutely need a better product in spite of the deadline? No problem, that’s what overtime is for!

I’m starting to hate the industry, seriously.
